The Dog Club was born from my lifelong passion for dogs, cultivated through nearly 20 years of experience in breeding, showing, caring for, and training them. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by everything related to dogs. I am proud to say can identify every breed and am continuously seeking to learn more about caring for them in every possible way. My enthusiasm has fueled The Dog Club, and I have dedicated my life to making it the best place in the world for dogs.
Walking into the barn around 3 PM, when the dogs are napping together, is like stepping into my childhood dream. The variety of breeds and personalities is truly magical. I often have to pinch myself to believe it’s real! My team is my extended family, and I love each of them. I couldn’t accomplish any of this without their support. It’s truly a dream come true!
My preferences have evolved over the years. I spent a significant amount of time raising and caring for bull breeds and working with large, powerful rescue dogs that required expert handling. My love for bull breeds remains strong. As I have gained experience with various breeds, I have developed a fondness for collies and gundogs, especially working breeds. Witnessing dogs reach their full potential brings me immense joy. Additionally, I have a keen interest in endangered breeds, and my knowledge of genetics and breeding keeps me fascinated by rare dog breeds.
Currently, I have a mischievous working Lakeland Terrier named Nipsy, three stunning Standard Poodles, and a GSP – all different breeds, each equally beautiful. I dream of adding an Australian Cattle Dog to my family, but I recognise the commitment required to train and care for one properly.
