The Stay and Train – Residential training Program

  • Cost: £1800 for the initial two weeks
  • Subsequent weeks: £800 each
  • Suitable for dogs aged 6 months and older
  • Younger puppies will receive a more tailored service at an additional cost.

Your dog will stay with us for a minimum of two weeks in our family home on the farm, receiving 24-hour care and guidance from a team of canine experts, including trainers and veterinary physiotherapists. During this period, we will start fresh on their training journey, revisiting the foundations and building up from there. We’ll engage your dog in multiple short training sessions each day, fostering a strong relationship while focusing on essential life skills necessary for them to thrive alongside you and your family. This includes polite house manners, loose-leash walking, relaxation techniques, and developing into a well-adjusted, happy family dog. The Board and Train program is designed to establish a new routine and set clear expectations for dogs who may have faced challenges in their training.

This program includes:

  • An introductory session
  • A full veterinary physiotherapy health check to ensure your dog’s well-being
  • Regular progress updates
  • A comprehensive go-home lesson to assist you in maintaining your dog’s training
  • Access to all The Dog Club facilities, including the grooming spa
  • Training around our other animals, such as horses and livestock
  • If beneficial, your dog will experience positive socialisation in our daycare, where a pack of well-balanced dogs can be extremely beneficial

If you believe the stay and train option is what you need, the first step is to book a consultation session. It’s crucial to confirm that this service is the right fit for both you and your dog. You will be invited to visit us, meet our team and see our facilities with your dog so we can meet you both and take notes on your dog’s specific needs. The consultation fee is £50, which will be deducted from the total cost if you decide to proceed with the Board and Train program. In certain instances, we can come to visit you if that would be more convenient – please let us know your preference.
