What is a stay and train service?

Imagine a home boarding stay that includes all the extras and 1-2-1 trainer for your dog every day, essentially a crash course in a safe, structured, and loving environment! This residential training course is tailored specifically for your dog. Unlike traditional boarding services, this program delivers intensive training through multiple short sessions with a trainer each day, lasting two weeks or even longer.

Our team not only possesses confidence and experience in dog handling but also offers a variety of unique experiences that can effectively address different behaviours, helping to fast-track your dog’s progress toward your training goals.

Our family home is set on three acres of beautiful, secure farmland, featuring a purpose-built dog training, daycare, and grooming centre on-site, all surrounded by the stunning Essex countryside. We are just a short drive from Maldon and Witham, as well as local beaches, parks, and the promenade, providing countless training opportunities in various settings. Every moment spent here on the farm and in the community is a chance to train and socialise your dog, making our stay and train service a popular choice for many. But what if my dog doesn’t behave the same for me when they come back?

This service designed to keep you informed and engaged throughout the entire journey – we manage the training while you learn simultaneously. It all starts with a consultation session where we will have an in-depth conversation about your goals, conduct initial assessments of your dog, and outline what we believe is achievable as we develop our plan moving forward.

Each day, you will receive updates on your dog’s progress, detailing their accomplishments, how the training is evolving, and how we have or achieved the results. Some days to be more eventful and productive than others, as dog training is rarely a straightforward process, but regardless of how big or small the progress seems we will. keep you up to date! We will discuss any challenges we encounter and how we can overcome them together, ensuring you remain involved every step of the way. Open communication and transparency throughout the training process, along with team work, are essential for long-term success.

The most crucial aspect of ensuring the long-term success of a stay and train program is the handover and your understanding of how to properly manage your dogs and implement the changes we have made to their routine and lifestyle.
